Maggies natural talent and polished self accompaniment on piano expresses the beauty of her chosen repertoire of wonderful, romantic songs from the swing era.
Music is Maggie's passion, she has completed many workshops and actively partakes of continued learning of Jazz Classics to enhance her performance.Maggie is interested in the Cairns Tropic Jazz Club, is a regular performer on the roster of bands.
Paul Long,
Suave Swing Duo
Vocals Clarinet Soprano and Tenor Saxophones,
Paul’s life time interest in music, commenced when he joined the Australian Army Band which involved extensive touring on a National and International level.
Paul also had extensive experience with pit orchestras, performing in such major Australian Stage shows such as “Jesus Christ Super Star” and “Chorus Line”. Paul was a touring member of the Daly-Wilson Big Band traveling the world with their feature artist Marcia Hines.
Paul has backed many famous stars including Wilma Reading, Caterina Valenta, Lesley Uggams and Shirley Bassey to name a few.
Patrons always enjoy Pauls, lyrical Saxaphone and Clarinet improvisations along with his vocals. Paul supports and performs at the Cairns Tropical Jazz Club's Thursday nights.

Evergreen Jazz Trio
Maxwell has had a long interest in Jazz, In the early 1950's, with a school friends Mervyn Williams and Barry Stevens they promoted opened and operated the “Up Town Club” in Melbourne.
When living at Byron Bay Maxwell was Band Leader and Drummer for a number of bands embracing, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Funk, Irish and Folk Bands.
